Inmetas history goes all the way back to the year of establishment in 1993, under the company name “Teampro”. Since then the company have expanded and are now a complete softwarehouse.

About Inmeta
Inmeta has 80 employees in Scandinavia, all with long experience and high competency within Inmeta’s core business. Core business areas are licensing and consulting. The company has offices in Oslo, Bergen, Ørebro and Copenhagen. Inmeta ASA is quoted on the Oslo stock exchange (Oslo Børs) (ticker-INM).

Licensing
Inmeta has since the year of establishment in 1993 been one of the leading volume licensing partners for a number of software producers. Inmeta Licensing AS offers Microsoft, Adobe, Symantec, Citrix, WMware, Oracle and others, to large and medium-sized companies. Inmeta are specialists in optimalization of agreement requirements and license procurement for their customers, and thereby protect the administrative operations the agreement provides. Inmeta are certified by the various software producers so that they can protect the regulations applicable for the respective software producers.  Central focus within the license area, Software Asset Management (SAM). With the most advanced tool for license management, high competency and long experience, we support companies to retrieve full control and accordance between user rights and user patterns. We protect the values the companies has acquired and secure the best position for additional procurements so that the company save costs over a longer time. We offer to manage the whole license management.

Consulting
Inmeta has a central place in a lot of the evaluations large companies have to make concerning IT and other business critical processes, including selection of and deployment of software. Inmeta Consulting AS offers a broad specter of services that supports central IT challenges. These services include consulting, project management, design, quality management, systems integration, IT security and Datacenter Operations Management with related routines, methods and frameworks. Inmeta Consulting was established through the acquisition of NetOp in March 2007.

Nordic organization
In 2006 Inmeta established offices in Sweden and Denmark. Inmeta Licensing AB, with 20 employees, are a central software partner in the Swedish market. Inmeta Licensing AB are also a broad software partner, with a specially strong position with niche products like TechNet, MSDN and MS Press.

Optimalization of license procurement Inmeta Licensing’s business consept is, through top-competency on system of agreements, licensing rules and optimal license management – support customers in making the most of volumelicensing rules in order to minimize the cost of license-investments. 

Our customers want to be correctly licensed according to the law, agreements and licensing-rules, and they want a supplier who can actively support them in reconsiliate userpattern related to license-balance.

The companys largest partner and supplier has always been Microsoft. For the last year we have in addition, on behalf of our customers wishes, established competency in agreements, certifications, logistics and supplier agreements with other software producers and service providers.

Software Asset Management – Software Management
Inmeta has a strong focus on giving our customers the opportunity for control, security and financial savings in their license procurements. This is provided by our services in software Asset management, we make use two tools realted to these services. Inmeta Licens Manager (ILM), which gives a correct webbased overview of the license balance reconsiliated with the userpattern of software. To map the userpattern in the company we use Inmeta Software Discovery (ISD), which can give a monthly overview without installing agents on clients or servers.

In December 2006 Inmeta entered into an agreeement with Visma for cooperation on training and consulting services. The agreement gives Inmeta a broadnes in products and services. Visma provides training, consulting and competency-solutions within IT, in traing sites all over Norway. Visma provides:

IT infrastructur consulting
Inmeta ASA acquired NetOp AS, established in 1995. NetOp AS is a consulting company with 33 employees specialized in IT-infrastructur. Including NetOp As, Inmeta can provide a broadnes in products and services. NetOp AS is now called Inmeta Consulting. They represent a strong competency profile within their core business Microsoft, Citrix and Wmware.

Inmeta Consulting will support our customers with implementation of a well-function, stabil and flexibel IT plattform, this through virtualization, standardization and automatization. This gives the customer benefits like better performance, structured IToperation and higher accessibility

Security is on of our most important areas, we focus on security and good accessibility of information. This means safe sones, graded systems, autentification soluitons with single SignOn or PKI solutions.

We have a good customer portfolio, a broad technical competency and healthy financial prospects. Inmeta Consulting has a subsidiary company in Vilnius with 4 consultants, and a possibility for a considerably scaling, where competency and experience are keywords.
