Avtalen for virksomheter som planlegger innkjøp og programvare over en treårsperiode. Med Enterprise Agreement kjøper virksomheter programvare fra Microsoft til en meget fordelaktig pris. Prisnivået baseres på virksomhetens anslåtte innkjøp over en treårsperiode. Avtalen passer for virksomheten som:
- Har minst 250 PC’er.
- Ønsker å samordne innkjøp av programvare.
- Vil ha med hele eller deler av organisasjonen i samme avtale.
- Vil standardisere visse Microsoft-produkter.
- Vil ha omfattende rabatter basert på volum.
Med en Enterprise Agreement kan virksomheter kjøpe programvare fra Microsoft som inngår i avtalen. Enterprise Agreement gir virksomheten rett til å kjøpe programvare på følgende måte:
- License og Software Assurance ”L&SA” - grunnlisenser + rett til siste versjon. Virksomheten får lisens på de komplette produktversjonene, og kan oppgradere til den siste versjonen av programvaren under avtaleperioden.
- Tilleggsprodukter. Virksomheten kan også kjøpe tilleggsprodukter i samsvar med gjeldende produktliste under avtaleperioden.
- Software Assurance ”SA”. I forbindelse med fornyelse av Enterprise Agreement kan denne avtalen starte gjennom at man kobler Software Assurance til Enterprise-produkter.
Hva innebærer Enterprise Agreement?
Virksomheter som ønsker å kjøpe programvare fra Microsoft via Enterprise Agreement lager først en oversikt over antall datamaskiner i organisasjonen. Deretter velger virksomheten hvilket eller hvilke produkter som skal inngå i avtalen og dermed installeres på samtlige datamaskiner. Avtalen gjelder for tre år med mulighet for forlengelse med ett eller tre år. Produkter som inngår i Enterprise Agreement:
- Microsoft Office Professional, full lisens
- Microsoft Core CAL, klientlisens
- Microsoft Windows Professional, oppgradering
Kostnaden for avtalen faktureres en gang årlig i forbindelse med begynnelsen av et nytt kontraktsår. Nye datamaskiner som dukker opp i løpet av et år rapporteres inn og betales i etterskudd på slutten av hvert kontraktsår. Andre produkter enn de som inngår i Enterprise Agreement kan legges inn i avtalen.
